“For Nigeria not to be a failed state, the search for patriotism, peace, unity, good governance and sustainable development must be given credence while the need to respect people’s fundamental human rights for the promotion of national values like integrity and pious life for exemplary lifestyles must be personalized,” he recommended.” he said.

Olagoke added that national consciousness to live by the national anthem and pledge must be promoted through role modelling  strategic approaches.

The Islamic leader advised that the struggle to enhance our socio-economic values and promote peace for security is our collective responsibility.

He  cautioned the Federal Government on the proposed hike in fuel prices, pointing out that it might lead to crisis and worsen the present insecurity.
