Oyo Police Command Scribe has been promoted to Suprintendent of Police (SP).
9Janewshub.com.ng reports that it was celebration galore at the Oyo State Command Headquarters Eleyele Ibadan as it’s Public Relations Officer, Adewale Emmanuel Osifeso (Anipr) got promoted to the rank of Suprintendent of Police, (SP).
Adewale Osifeso was promoted from the rank of Deputy Suprintendent of Police (DSP) to Suprintendent of Police (SP) alongside with Abosede Ogunlade, Tajudeen Alawoye, Olakunle Akinjo, John Ogunade, Adesiji Aroloye, Kehinde Caroline Osanaiye Osifeso, Olajide Raheem, Yetunde Ojo, Joe Babatunde Olorunleke, Ayoola Mutiu, Kareem Atobatele, Thank God Ehijiator, Idowu Kehinde, Abayomi Adeyemi, Omotesho Akeem, Borisanmi Ojo, Sade Ajibola, Omoliki Ajayi, and Samuel Dare.
Some officers of the Command that were promoted from the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) are Yemi John Oyeniyi, Moses Ashu Ottah, Sunday Adeolu Oke, while the duo of Olutoyin Eniseyin and Sunday Jonathan John were promoted from the Chief Suprintendent of Police (CSP) to Assistant Commissioner of Police (AC) respectively.
Idowu Kayode Fapojuwo was only officer of the command that got promoted from the rank of Suprintendent of Police (SP) to the rank of Chief Suprintendent of Police (CSP) leaving statistics of the newly promoted officers at the Command to Three (DCs), Two (ACs), One(CSP), Twenty (SPs).
Briefing journalists shortly after the decorations of the newly promoted officers, the elated Commissioner of Police, CP. Ngozi Onadeko fdc commended the inspector general of Police, the Nigerian Police Commission as well as Police hierachy for finding officers of the command worthy of promotions.
She said, “Today is very joyous occasion when the people you are working with get promoted, get elevated, so on their behalf I thank the Inspector General of Police, the Police Service Commission, for finding them worthy for promotion, at least in my Command have gotten two DCs, Three ACs, and it goes down to the ranks, even my PRO got promoted too.
“I thank God for them and I thank the Police hierachy for their promotions, and I want to tell them that to much is given much is expected, they are expected to put more efforts into their jobs, they should be alive to their duties, and impact on other people, and help us, although they’ve been helping, to check insecurity in the Command.” Onadeko said.
Highlights of the event was the presentations of award plaque to the newly decorated Suprintendent of Police, SP. Adewale Osifeso by the Public Relations team of the Command comprises of Aisha, Esther, Sunday, and others.
