Asiwaju Yinusa Kazeem Ayandoye has emerged APP guber candidate 

9Janewshub.com.ng reports that as political parties are preparing ahead of 2023 general elections, Action Peoples Party(APP) Oyo state chapter as nominated Asiwaju Yinusa Kazeem Ayandoye as its gubernatorial candidate that will be wrestling power with the likes of Senator Teslim Folarin, the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, among others.

Asiwaju Ayandoye emerged APP consensus flag bearer in Ibadan, the Capital City of Oyo state as he was adopted by all the delegates of the party across 33 local government area in the state.

Speaking shortly after his nominations, Asiwaju Ayandoye said, “I accept the offer of nominating me as the gubernatorial candidate of this our great party to wrestle power with other political gladiators in the state and I’m assuring you that I will be the next governor of this state.

“I’m also promising you not to let you down, I want to also make this medium to nominate my running mate, I’m from Oyo North, and after due consideration,  my running mate is someone from Oyo South Senatorial District and the person is Reverend Christopher Niyi Olaonipekun from Ibarapa area of the state.

“I’m very optimistic that our party is going to win at the forthcoming election. I’m urging you all not to relent in your struggle, go out and collect your PVC and ensure you work tirelessly for victory of our great party. Ayandoye said.

In his remark, the representative of Oyo State Resident Electorial Commission, Mr. Dapo Aderobigbe urged politicians to shun electorial thuggery, vote buying and vote selling.

Aderogba said, “there is no small party, all registered parties have equal rights, don’t be intimidated by numbers of other political parties, just do the needful by collecting your PVC, and ensure that you vote for the right people of your choice.

In his address, the chairman of the APP gubernatorial panel, Mr. Adelegan said, Asiwaju Yinusa Kazeem Ayandoye emerged party’s guber candidate after due consultations.

He also charged party loyalists to step up in their campaign activities, noted that it is not an task to defeat the incumbent government.
