Oyo NSCDC has arrested two suspects over diversion of PMS.
SWIndependenews.com.ng reports that the Oyo State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has on Friday announced arrest of two suspects in connection of diversion of petroleum products.
The development according to a press release made available to the SWIndependentnews.com.ng in Ibadan the Capital City of Oyo State stated that the two suspects were arrested for their alleged diversion of Petroleum Products suspected to be premium motor spirit(PMS) also known as Petrol.
The statement that was signed by the State Public Relation of Corps, CSC Oluwole Olusegun gave the names of the two Suspects as: Akeem Adesola(M) aged 30years from saki and Benjamin Adeniyi(M) aged 29years maintained that they were arrested with their truck, a blue Leyland DAF with registration number EKY 189 XV along Iseyin/Saki Road around 1500hrs yesterday Wednesday 14th July, 2021 by the Antivandal Unit of the Command.
Parading the suspects, the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Oyo State Command, Michael Adaralewa, said the command had re strategies by improving on intense patrol of crime prone area in the state to combat any act of criminality.

The state Commandant added that after thorough Investigation is completed the suspects would be charged to Court .
Meanwhile, Commandant Adaralewa Michael used this medium to warn whoever indulges in diversion and illegal dealings in Petroleum Products to desist as NSCDC Oyo state command will not leave any stone unturn in dealing with the perpetrators who belief in sabotaging the effort of the government.
”The Command has zero-tolerance for criminalities hence, all perpetrators are to either relocate out of Oyo State or face the wrath of the law ”, he added
