Head of Service has declared half day work for civil servant to enjoy Super Eagle match against Black Stars of Ghana.

9Janewshub.com.ng reports that In order to give Super Eagles maximum support to beat the Black Stars of Ghana, the  Head of Service of the Federation has directed all civil servants, particularly in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), to close work at 1pm.

In a circular signed by Dr. Ngozi Onwudiwe, Permanent Secretary, (Service Welfare Office), the head of service  directed all the permanent secretaries to ensure that the release was circulated to their ministries to ensure effective impact on this.

The circular read: “As you are aware the Super Eagles will be meeting the Black Stars of Ghana in continuation of the FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff (return leg).

“There is the need to mobilize support for the national team. Consequently, I am directed to inform you that all offices will be closed at 1pm on Tuesday March 29th, 2022.

“Permanent secretaries are expected to give this circular wide publicity to achieve the desires result.”

The match comes up at 6:30 pm Nigerian time and the aggregate winner qualified for Qatar 2022 World Cup in November.
