Police Officers and mourners were sighted scampering for safety as colony of bees dislodge people at palace court.
9Janewshub.com.ng reports that there was a funny scenario at the Palace of Alaafin of Oyo this morning when mourners old and young present inside the palace Court were dislodged by colony of bees.
The bees came from nowhere and started to sting people who were mourners.
The mourners old and young were sighted both inside, entrance and outside the palace Court to register their condolence over the demise of the late Oba Lamidi Adeyemi who joined his ancestors earlier today.
Among people sighted scampering for safety were policemen who were inside the Palace Court to maintain peace and order, few of them were sting beyond control as they initially refused run away from their spot.
Also sighted running away from the palace over the attack of bees were aged women and men, youths, underaged children, journalists, Chiefs and others.
The bees were said to have their settlement on a mango tree located inside the palace court and they were reported to have unleashed terror on people as some youths went for ripe mangoes while throwing stones and sticks at the tree.
