Governor Wike had promised to restructure Nigeria if elected as president. 

9Janewshub.com.ng reports that the Presidential aspirant of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike has berated President Muhammadu Buhari led administration over insecurity challenges in the country.

Governor Wike who on Thursday visited Oyo State delegates at the Government House Agodi Ibadan says he will embrace restructuring and advance the creation of state police if elected as the president of Nigeria.

Wike maintained that President Muhammadu Buhari has failed Nigerians in terms of providing adequate security for all and sundry in the country.

While addressing over 180 Oyo state delegates ahead of the national convention of the party said he has much believe in restructuring adding that the nation might not survive without state police.

Governor Wike while canvansing for votes said he is the best man for the job and told the delegates to support people with good character and consistency in order to take Nigeria to greater heights.

While noting that since 1998 when PDP was formed, he never left the party.

Governor Wike pleaded with.all the delegates to support his presidential ambition so as to clinch the ticket of the party during the November 28 party’s convention in Abuja.

Governor Wike however promised that he would not leave the party even he did not win the presidential ticket maintaining that he would continue to work for PDP.

Another presidential aspirant of PDP in attendance,Ayodele Fayose stated that PDP in the south west would go to the convention with one voice.

Mr Ayodele Fayose who was the former governor of Ekiti state is optimistic that the delegates in the south west would go to the convention with 85% of their votes in one place.

In a remark,the host,Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state assured his colleague vying for presidential ticket of his support in making the dream a reality.
